“Help us pull debris from Sarasota Bay before it destroys habitats—your gift powers immediate marine cleanup.”

  • Why It Matters

Our region—Sarasota Bay, Tampa Bay, and the Venice coastline—faces constant threats from man-made debris, hurricane damage, and pollution. Storms push entire fields of construction material, plastics, and hazardous debris into our bays and estuaries. At the same time, human activity adds everything from fishing line and abandoned traps to microplastics and large trash. These pollutants choke seagrass beds, entangle wildlife, damage boats, and reduce water quality.

Left unaddressed, this debris creates cascading impacts:

Marine life suffers entanglement, ingestion, and habitat destruction.

Seagrass beds and oyster reefs—critical for filtering water and storing carbon—are smothered.

Waterways and channels become unsafe for navigation.

  • Our Role in the Community

The PET Method provides marine logistics support to local nonprofits and government agencies leading cleanup operations. This means we supply the vessels, crew, and operational capacity to safely help remove and transport debris from hard-to-reach coastal areas.

    Our work ensures:

Safe and efficient access for divers and volunteers.

Transport of large debris loads (often thousands of pounds) to proper disposal sites.

Support during disaster recovery, when hurricanes scatter debris into estuaries.

Collaboration with local nonprofits, magnifying their impact by giving them the tools and marine support they need.

  • The Donor Impact

Every dollar donated goes directly toward keeping vessels fueled, maintained, and staffed for cleanup missions. By supporting this program, you are:

Protecting sea turtles, manatees, dolphins, and countless fish species.

Restoring water clarity and reducing harmful algal blooms.

Preserving safe waterways for our fishing, boating, and way of life

  • Join Us in Protecting Our Bays

When you support our marine logistics and debris removal efforts, you’re not just funding boat time or fuel—you’re helping restore Sarasota Bay, Tampa Bay, and Venice for generations to come.
